Within the ART-KYIV Contemporary art fair the round-table “Museum in the modern context” was held on November, 11th. Project manager of the Foundation Denis Belkevich made a keynote “Museum as a Content-provider: Intellectual Technologies and the Exhibition Space”. The speech will be published soon in the December issue of ART UKRAINE magazine and also on our website.

Petr Konchalovsky Foundation is invited to take part in the Organisational Committee of the International conference COMMUNICATING THE MUSEUM’2011 organised by Agenda, France. The meeting of the Committee will take place in Paris at Musée des Arts Décoratifs on 14th of October and gather 12 art professionals from the World museums and cultural foundations. The news concerning the future conference will be available on the website soon after the meeting. |

The Konchalovsky Exhibition queue breaks a record |

The recent weekends have broken a record of the visitors’ attendance for the Konchalovsky Exhibition at the Tretyakov Gallery. The continual queue for a Russian artist takes place in the modern Gallery’s history for the first time. Our Foundation is grateful to all the lovers of the Russian art!

The official opening of the exhibition “Petr Konchalovsky: The Evolution of the Russian Avant-garde” took place at the Tretyakov Gallery on 15th of September, 2010. Several hours before the exhibition was presented to its honoured guests: Ann Dumas (Curator at the Royal Academy of Arts, London), Denis Coutagne (Curator in Chief of the French Museums), Nicholas Cullinan (Curator of the 20th Century at Tate Modern Gallery, London). The photos and the post-release of the exhibition will be available on our website soon. |

2 weeks have left before the opening of the exhibition “Konchalovsky: The Evolution of the Russian Avant-garde” at the Tretyakov Gallery. From now on the news concerning the preparations for the exhibition will be updated every day on our Facebook page. |
